Meet Dr. Khanna
Minimally invasive spine surgery was first introduced in 1980s to offer patients less painful solutions for many spine disorders and surgeries. I believe less cutting means less pain. Relying on specialized instruments, I can access the spine through small, 1-to-2-inch incisions. The use of microscopes allows for exacting precision during surgery. The result? You return to your regular lifestyle much faster, without extensive surgical pain.
In a rapidly changing healthcare world, corporate medicine has fundamentally altered the patient experience. I believe treatment should be better. I had an opportunity to create a patient-focused, advanced care system that is borne from my many years of patient care plus my surgical experience.
Established as a pioneer in the field of minimally invasive outpatient spine surgery, with many publications, presentations at international spine meetings, and textbook chapters, I train surgeons from around the world my MIS cervical and lumbar techniques. And I am a founding member of the Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery. My goal is to create a place treating patients how I would want my own family members to be treated.
I believe it is important patients understand what each procedure involves. And, if you’re exploring your surgery options, I want to help answer your questions. Being informed is vital to positive post-op patient outcome and your long-term health.
