Your Partner In Worker's Comp

I see myself and my staff as your partner in a worker’s compensation, navigating the complex requirements of the industry. I have a dedicated Workers’ Compensation team that is ready to assist in making the injury and claim management process as smooth as possible.

I know worker’s comp means you have so many questions! Some of these are:

#1 - It’s important any injuries be reported to your insurance immediately -- as soon as an employee files that first Injury Report.

#2 - To begin caring for an injured employee, and to ensure notifications and claims are handled appropriately and in a timely manner, employees will be asked to provide the following information at their first office visit:

-       Employer’s work comp insurance company name and contact information

-       Insurance claim number

-       Date of injury

-       Employer contact for work comp matters.

-       Employee job description as soon as possible to ensure work restrictions and recommendations are

consistent with the duties of your employee.

-       If you offer light duty work and/or alternative employment options, please advise my team. It is my

goal to understand all work available to your injured employee.

-       Following each visit, I will provide a patient with a Work Status update. Please be sure your employee

shares this with you immediately. In addition, my team will send this form and my medical notes to the

adjuster listed with your company insurer.

-      Your injured worker should be informed by you that they need to be in contact with their assigned

claim adjuster to provide updates on treatments prescribed by me, including tests -- MRI, CT scans,

etc. -- or durable medical equipment -- knee brace or a sling  --  in case any recommended treatments

require a pre-approval.

-       My office staff will contact the insurer to obtain necessary pre-approvals.

-       My Workers Compensation team is always just a phone call and/or email away, ready to help navigate

and manage the process of an employee injury.

-       I will be your resource in providing expedited, comprehensive care for spinal injuries.

I look forward to collaborating with you, and your employee, to achieve the best possible outcomes in

the most expedited path available.
